MTV You Bought What?!

Role: Associate Producer

An original video series in collaboration with Facebook Watch featuring comedian Jamie Zhu unboxing and trying out the most bizarre items found on the interwebs. Think silicon feet, laugh yoga sessions, and an electric facial zapper from the 1970s (!).

• Wrote and produced 12 episodes for MTV You Bought What?! – a comedy video series in partnership with Jamie Zhu, an Australian comedian/content creator.

• Pitched lists of products to feature within each episode, conceptualising episode themes to uniquely encapsulate each item.

• Production process from pre– to post– was done remotely due to COVID-19.

• Collaborated closely with Australian production team throughout production process, including remotely leading post-production – ensuring each episode was concise and consistently on brand.
  

🥳 The first episode reached 100K organic views in 3 hours, 450K in 3 days & eventually, the show became the most watched digital series in the history of MTV Asia.
